Tom Proctor has over 35 years of diversified banking, business, and regulatory experience. He has expertise in a broad range of banking activities such as loan and credit review, regulatory reporting, de novo bank formation, bank compliance functions, bank operations and accounting, and policy and procedure analysis and writing. Mr. Proctor began his career with the Georgia Department of Banking of Finance where he worked for 12 years. Subsequently, he worked for three different financial institutions in north Georgia overseeing Credit Administration, Operations, Risk Management and Audit. Mr. Proctor is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance and served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. He is involved in the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, Georgia Alumni Society and his local Church and Elk lodge.
